Press describing this (un)presidential letter with words like ‘angry’ and ‘blistering’, rather than more appropriate terms such as ‘deranged’ or ‘unhinged’. Imagine for a moment if the letter had come from a woman; they’d be using ‘hysterical’ or ‘screeching’ or words to that effect.

I definitely hope she will be held accountable for her actions, because that’s what privilege usually seems to let people get away with. Not sure if a prison sentence would do any good, though; I’d rather she’d be made to do some serious community service... and perhaps pay tuition for students who have the potential…

I’m not sure if a protest of this kind is going to do the group any favours; the intention may be to pressure the management, but if you’re pushing for more output, doesn’t this just pressure management to exploit the artist(s) more?
