Why not both?

Did they learn from Drumpf or did Drumpf learn from them? ‘Cause their whining sounds eerily similar...

I don’t know who the first person was to coin the term ‘recovering Catholic’ but I think that’s the colloquial equivalent to ‘secular Jew’ or ‘secular Muslim’ (as in: raised but not practicing)?

That, and people don’t get excommunicated from their congregation if they don’t follow the priest’s every single exact instruction. (Source: not a Catholic but grew up in Catholic community; was never even made to feel bad or ‘less’ about not being a Catholic.)

Not judging you at all, as I too was briefly a member of such a church (cult). At the time I was only at the start of my career and still paying off student debts, and then I was told by the pastor’s assistants that a woman working to earn her keep was acceptable as long as she was single, but that her sole ambition

Keep detailed records and collate proof in a format and location that you will be able to access even if you were to (be forced to) leave the company.

Thanks for that tip! (Even though it wasn’t directed at me, still taking notes)

The last time those really high cuts were trendy was something like 27 years ago and they should have never come back into fashion. It’s obvious they’re not doing this beautiful woman any favours so why/how on earth are they supposed to work for anyone else?

Sincere apologies, but I’m an old lady outside of the US so... who are these people? Sorry sorry sorry but that’s a genuine question.

Would be funny if most donations could be traced back to a certain gold-plated penthouse in Trump towers in New York... to a man who never really intended let alone wanted to be President of the US of A...

He doesn’t have to think, he’s too busy counting his money. If he does think, it’s only of himself.

Nigel wasn’t bound by anything, he wasn’t even part of the official campaign. Drumpf, on the other hand, is trapped. Surely you can’t be elected leader of the free world, resign from the post (someone with his yuuuuuge ego?) and expect your brand and reputation to survive in a way you can monetise it after?

Funny how Drumpf himself drew an analogy to Brexit before he won the election. Did he not watch Boris Johnson and Michael Gove’s press conference after they won the referendum? Did he not see their unhappiness and the overall look of ‘f*****ck... f*ck f*ck f*ck f*ck!’ on their faces? Had no one in his entourage told

Be told ‘No’ sometimes and having to accept it

This is too huge (“yuuuuge!”) for him to back out of, I can’t see him do it —not with his humungous and precious ego.

People were and still are comparing this election to Brexit. I think I’m right in saying he himself compared this to Brexit. I thought it was a bad comparison until I saw this tweet:

I presume she’s getting handsomely rewarded for her troubles. Any chance of her coming out post-campaign (especially if Trump were to lose) saying “I didn’t mean any of it, I was only in it for the money” or is she ideologically committed?

Is the US electoral roll public? i.e. can they check if this guy is or ever has been registered as a democrat?

Presuming that by POS you mean Donald Trump: it’s the sign of a civilised country. You don’t get anyone hurt or killed for their opinions, however reprehensible those may be. And I appreciate that some of his own followers may not follow that principle, but that still wouldn’t justify refusing him the protection

For me as a non-American who has never even been in the US, this is one of the hardest things to grasp: why, when registering as a voter, do you have to register you political allegiance? (And that’s question, not a criticism – I just don’t understand it.)
