Fine, I’ll bite. I know it’s really cool to hate on Coldplay right now, but I’m old anyway so I don’t care about my lack of coolness. However much I dislike most of Coldplay’s music, I cannot label it as “bad”; it’s just not to my taste. “Bad” music is when I can’t hear a natural vocal or an actual musical instrument

*receiving a more (no idea why I mixed up those words)

I’m trying really hard to think of a receiving more awkward gift than arse cream...

But because I’m a cynical arsehole, I now seriously don’t know whether to accept this as genuine concern for the cause on Beyonce’s part or whether she’s adopted the cause as part of her marketing strategy. I’m sorry, but sometimes I just do not know who or what to believe anymore.

A few weeks ago I was on a British Airways flight from Dublin to London, temperatures in both cities around freezing point. All cabin crew (which included two females) were in trousers and they looked fabulous; they were a really nice cut trousers (kind of in-between straight cut and boot cut), looked more comfortable

...and have brought a cloud of shame...

Kerry Washington can dress in the proverbial garbage bag and still look stunning, but I agree her eyes convey unhappiness and I want to make her a cup of tea and hug her.

According to reports, O’Kroley never attempted the suicide but did attempt to kill the police officer who came to arrest him.

But “I could always trust Ted, he was always very responsible, as 18-year-olds go.”

On one occasion my flight got cancelled and I was booked into one of those middle seats on a later flight, only to be met with fierce protestations from the elder of the two ladies in the row, who was seated in the window seat. She furiously turned on me – no, I couldn’t sit there, she’d bought and paid for three

Intelligence wasn’t something I was thinking of; it was more like, if life hands you plenty of opportunity to make something of yourself, you may be less likely to give in to whatever evil you have inside yourself and do horrible things...? Or perhaps that’s just me being naive...

Intelligence wasn’t what I was thinking of, rather it was about things like opportunity and achievement in life (possibly with some privilege thrown in). Like, if you look at terrorists such as Anders Breivik or the various British-born Al Qeada/ISIS killers, they all came from a position of (self-perceived or actual)

Innocent until proven guilty, I know, but – hypothetically speaking – how does someone go from being an engineering student with a stepping stone into NASA to becoming an accessory to the murder of a child?

SPARTACUS!

But then who are the two Oscar winners? Natalie Portman and...?

That looks like a design made by someone who got the gig, got the advance, knew his deadline, and then procrastinated and procrastinated and procrastinated until he had, like, five minutes left and went “Ohhh f***! Owwwww sh!t sh!t sh!t sh!t... Quick, black-wham-bam-SWOOSH! Done.”

they’re not putting all their eggs in one basket
