For years now, CarMax has been treating both buyers and sellers like children. Sale prices too high, but non-negotiable. Buying prices too low, and also never budge on those.

Hah yup! Exact same. It blows my mind but I guess they have a zillion Rogues and Rogue Sport/Qashquais to build. 

I get that, I’m not the spendy type either and I’m still driving around in a 2005 Pontiac Pursuit. Thing is, I can get parts for so cheap, and it’s so easy to fix that the car won’t die soon.

The SS trim gives it better handling, the interior had “premium” touches (materials, etc...not design). The biggest thing was the 260hp LNF engine and LSD. 

I agree with that second part especially. Maybe they need bigger vehicles with which to carry their gigantic phones, another thing where size increases should have stopped when it became impractical, but didn’t.

Harsh. I like the RF. Also, let the record state, I bought a Fiesta ST and a manual Forte in the last 5 years new. I’m doing my part.

I had an HHR SS. It was fast, carried more stuff than it looked like it should, got 30mpg, and ran reliably (even with a tune) for over 170k miles until it got rear-ended beyond repair.
