my DD is a manual, and my ultimate dream car is a 911 GT3 with manual. However I’ve driven some DCT/auto cars that were more fun to drive than any manual I’ve ever driven. There are things that one can do in a dual clutch car when just faffing around cruising that you can’t do in a manual - unbelievably fast blipped…

if you knew anything about STIs you’d know they’ve ALWAYS been manual only smh. And I’ll take the hard-wearing interior and superior reliability of the STI over the soft touch plastics and questionable electrics of the Golf R thanks very much 

But neither the Focus RS nor the Golf R match the performance of Mustang GTs so why should the STI? 

I have loud pipes but in built-up areas, I drive slowly and don’t annoy anyone around me
