I’m 35, and imho, 1000cc sportbikes are great for trackdays but rather boring in town. Harleys on the other hand, feel engaging at round town and highway speeds. I’d urge you to go on a test-ride to check it out (I particularly liked my test ride of the Fat Boy). I don’t think I’ll own a Harley for another decade but…

I think its a price thing. Jalops like Moto Guzzis and Triumph Scramblers and such, and can afford them because they are around $10k or less.
