I guess we live in different worlds - in the neighbourhood I grew up in in Toronto, Porsches were v common, but it always the Cayennes and occasionally Panameras that I’d see at my school, and never the (usually) husbands with 911s.

my daily driver is a manual, and I hope manual transmissions are available as long as I live, but there is something fun about using a DSG in a supercar, and being able to get awesomely fast blips on downshifts. Its an aural experience that cannot be replicated in a manual car even if you’re Senna.
