KL Terminal One is outstanding. Large, open, with comfortable waiting areas. Customs & Immigration hasn’t really kept up with the crowds though, the lines can be too long. (There didn’t used to be any.)

Went again this year for 3 weeks in August. We all have surfboards and lots of gear hidden up in the trees not far from the beach, but I think that this will be the last time for me. My way has always been to ask a staff person what the bartender’s name and his/her station, then go to the part of the bar. Make easy eye contact, and smile whisper their name with my lips. Service, whether or not it’s actually from that bartender, always happens within 3 minutes.
