Went again this year for 3 weeks in August. We all have surfboards and lots of gear hidden up in the trees not far from the beach, but I think that this will be the last time for me. My knees are gone, I can’t hold my breath or duck dive like I used to, and the mosquitoes are really bad in the daytime now.
No. And I don’t applaud when my bus arrives either.
My way has always been to ask a staff person what the bartender’s name and his/her station, then go to the part of the bar. Make easy eye contact, and smile whisper their name with my lips. Service, whether or not it’s actually from that bartender, always happens within 3 minutes.
