Exceedingly doubtful we’d do anything remotely that brazen with a nuclear armed opponent.

We’re not quite that over the top when it comes to dealing with a nuclear armed opposing force. Don’t control US antagonism against smaller countries that can’t defend themselves with one like Russia.

100% accurate. It’s obviously gonna take a bit on the infrastructure, but we’re well on our way. I see more of those things popping up everywhere all the time now.

Maybe not good enough for you, but good enough for most of the rest of us. If I knew I could regain 80% of a full ‘tank’ in less than 20 minutes, that’s more than good enough for me and I suspect millions of others. You dramatically underestimate the power of a few extra minutes on social media or checking your email

Well, this is how you get there. Trial and error, etc. These technologies can’t be developed exclusively in a lab, they require real world usage to move us further forward.

100% agree.

These are tricky numbers in here. It doesn’t specify which percentage of overall users are having these kinds of problems, or to what degree, or for how long. If these issues are impacting the readiness of, say, 20% or more, I’d say we have a big problem. If it’s less than 5%, or the issues go away after they’ve

These are essentially replacing gear, not supplanting it. They have night vision capabilities. Also, I’m almost certain that these are mission specific, so it’s not like your average rifleman is going to be hauling these around 24/7.

Or so I hope!

The monthly service fees are almost undoubtedly to help defray monthly  mobile data connectivity, i.e. the method used to update the plate’s information, etc.

I dunno. Mebbe. There’s a lot to say for having fun with it, and I def support people being able to manipulate and edit their personal avatars, but I think the real path forward would be context based avatars, i.e. you have one that appears one way to your friends, another way to strangers, another way to family,

Ya, this whole video is so fake. What really gets me though is just how obviously fake it is. Surely the propogandists at this Chinese company don’t really think the rest of the world is so ignorant of video editing and physics. The weight of the amount of ammunition to make that gun of any value alone would far

Yes, making your robot nuclear powered is a relatively trivial task. And of course solar power can easily provide the equivalent amount of power.

Those two issues aside, an EMP burst isn’t attacking the power source so much as the rest of the electronics package, so that’s largely irrelevant anyway.

That is 100% brilliant. Thank you for that!

Ummm, he’s not out of touch. While 5 million views isn’t inconsequential, it’s not 500 million views. It is entirely possible for entire gigantic swathes of the Internet to have no idea who you personally think is ‘popular’, and for that person to not be out of touch. That’s just a little corrosive, don’t you think?

I’m very unclear on why you’re referring to these as “middle of the stack”. Middle of what stack? These are on the upper end of the consumer class CPUs in the 7000 series. Wouldn’t the middle be the 5 series?

What file management app did you author? I’m curious if I know it.

You honestly sound like you have a child’s grasp on things. Seriously. It’s a comic book show on Disney. Treating it as though it’s our entry into the Smartypants Cinema for Serious People is just plain dumb.
Plus, the show is actually quite fun on various levels. Settle down.

I cannot for the life of me understand why you guys don’t put pictures of the live action actors in these updates. I mean, seriously, that’s the entire point of it, isn’t it? If not, why even bother specifying the actor’s name if we have to go off and Google them anyway?

Except, “PC” means Personal Computer. It isn’t specific to non-Apple devices. All Apple computers are PCs. If you meant “Windows computers”, that isn’t helpful either because you’re leaving out the fact that there such things as Linux.
Perhaps just say “non-Apple PC’s”.

Truth. The way that movie started out was glorious and then it just kinda sank into a generic formula.
