The title of this article should be “here’s a list of automakers”.

::massive eye roll::

This show was a huge favorite among my friends and I back in the 5th grade.

That’s a Lewis Black bit from like 20 years ago.

“If it weren’t for my horse, I wouldn’t have spent that year in college.”

I’d rather it go to the manufacturer who designed and built a desirable vehicle, than to a middle man who brings no value to the table.

Seven years? VW and the like thinks 100K is an accomplishment. You are about to hit that 2nd mortgage requirement range for VW troubleshooting.  ;)

This keeps getting compared to the Supra, but I’m wondering if the base model might also entice a few perspective GR86 buyers.

Nissan Altima. I don’t know how it came to be the go-to car for shitty drivers, but whenever I see one in my peripheral vision I know I’m about to get cut off.

Safety sources will tell you the first thing to do is get the car(s) out of the road if they can be moved. Sitting in the street is asking for casualties. And it was wise to not be moving the driver until the medical pros had given the all-clear. That just leaves putting it in neutral and pushing it out of the street.

Well, none of them are sitting at a computer, or watching the news. Many Americans of all shapes, sizes and colors are pretty damn good people when they aren’t being incited by the hate and fear machines.

I was laid off last Sept and not long after that, my co-worker quit his job because he “wasn’t feeling it” despite being his family’s major breadwinner, having 2 young kids, etc. As far as I know he still hasn’t found a job; he thinks he’s in the driver’s seat LOL. By comparison, in the last ~15 years I have been laid

and if you think your *current* job is soul-crushing and demoralizing and hopeless, try looking for a new job knowing your severance and unemployment will eventually run out, and that 99% of your applications won’t even merit a response.  It fucking sucks.

This. I got laid off last week from a job I started in November.

I was sniffing out jobs and updating LinkedIn that same evening. Getting laid off right now when the economy is starting to slowly drip diarrhea before it just fucking unleashes its bowels is not ideal.

You know who should appreciate a Homestar Runner reference?

Don’t do drugs kids.  It leads to articles like this.

Forget corner vent windows, while it’s fun to have 70 mph air blasting in your face, those aren’t coming back. But how about actual full-size windows? You know, the kind where we can comfortably drive with our elbow on top of the door while still having our left hand at the 9 o’clock position on the wheel. Large

Judging from some of the Super Duty and Suburban drivers around here, they’re making sure that the “Compact Cars Only” stencil on the pavement is completely hidden.

Everyone that knows cars - “Minivans are horrible, would never own one.”
