Glenn hasn't made it back to tell them that yet. Pay attention! The last thing we need is one more plot hole!

Agreed. That's what made it great. After that, though, we got a relatively uninteresting batch of episodes about a Beth rescue mission. I just wish the writers could keep up the pacing and manage to strike gold more than once per half-season.

Didn't you see it, though?!? Glenn's name was removed from the credits that one time!

"Goddammit, somebody find another sheet, I guess."

I thought the first two episodes were great. The third one would've been a lot better had they handled that whole Glenn thing better (or not done it at all). The fourth episode was decent for what it was, I guess? Everything else was a total bust though, wasn't it?

I wish the show went super dark and the characters just left Sam listening to music in his room as it got overrun by zombies.

We can all thank AMC for that being a thing now!

After the big Glenn reveal that we all saw coming, Scott Gimple said that he wanted the audience to share in the characters' uncertainty. That's no excuse to give us half a fucking episode.

After watching these eight episodes, I strongly suspect that [YOU KNOW WHO] will not be receiving a skull bashing from [A MYSTERIOUS NEW VILLAIN?!?] like he/she may or may not have in a certain comic book version of a certain show. The writers are going to screw that up like they continuously screw up everything else.

It's Jen Larry!

I'm excited for all of these serious exchanges to immediately be followed by a tension breaking joke come the actual release of the movie.

That's true. He did ask her where she was living in Alexandria, though, and she pretty much straight-up said she was alone. I imagine anyone could use a sort of parental figure in their life, especially a stupid teenager.

I like her better than whiny, angsty Ron… So there's that.

People who have read the comics, do you think Glenn and Maggie are going to adopt Enid? I haven't read the comics, but I remember reading about them adopting a certain someone's daughter after that certain someone bit the dust, and I thought this may serve in its place.

Long Answer: My best guess is that they can smell and hear the people in Alexandria, especially given how many of them there are. Just in this episode, we had Rick hammering away trying to build up the wall. I imagine they could see the people keeping watch too. The zombies went for Glenn initially, but stopped when

Everybody finally got the answer they've been waiting weeks for: ENID IS SAFE!

No credit to the writers here, but they only ever seemed to wanna emphasize how pissed he was at Carl, what with all the angsty glances every time Carl and his hat chimed in during their impromptu gun demonstration. I get that he was pretty upset with Rick a few episodes back, but I feel like this episode did nothing

Maggie Greene Balloons

That they chose to go with the most obvious goddamned justification for Glenn's inevitable survival is disappointing, but not unexpected. Also, teenage angst or not, Ron is way too fucking mad at Carl for - what? - possibly flirting with his girlfriend?

…and remember… no Russian.
