Isn't there already a new Wolverine in the comics? I think it's a younger woman. That feels like the best route to take for replacing an actor who essentially is that character - create a new "The Wolverine" who is different from James Howlett altogether and avoid any comparisons between the two actors.

I don't care what anyone says, Tobey Maguire was and still is the best Wolverine.
