My exact thought. I’m sick of seeing women (and men) like me dead or dying in real life and fiction; I’m sick of us belonging to a group seen as nothing at best and an evil to be purged at worst. I can’t watch anymore. I just can’t.

That is why Isreal puts up with evangelical Christian conservative politicians because they know that as long as there is no end times (read: never) they can get almost anything they want from America.

I think a lot will depend on how many on the Senate are actively involved in Russian activity and cannot let the investigation go to their doors.

You don’t get it - that would be tantamount to admitting they were wrong about something. And modern conservatism has only one guiding principle at this point - “Never back down, never admit fault, and never say you were wrong. EVER.”
