This is fine.
This is fine.
Thing is, improv-ing the entire movie, and irreverently tossing out your own rewritten dialogue is an editing nightmare. It also tends to make the actors off-kilter. It may be the up-and-coming trend for comedies, but not for a franchise like this.
This.
Improv works well if it's planned, like the principal/assistant scene in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, but not for an entire movie. It's like the guy you golf with who takes 5 mulligans off every tee. Eventually no one wants to golf with him anymore.
He's self-aware, if nothing else.
It seems they've pushed past the "what will he do this week" to how badly this pattern of failure is starting to fuel his fire. Further, how this meltdown is directly affecting Jared, who's been his only faithful advocate almost from day one.
Idioms serve a subterranean purpose of making people feel superior about their own language. Now I'm off to take a shower.
I just realized it's this that will help me through the upcoming non-Erlich seasons.
What put him up to Dbag Level Expert was his little tweet about the sadz he had when his show wasn't renewed, knowing he'd trigger a few million earnest but naive conservatives.
"…CMT couldn’t work out a deal with production company 20h Century Fox…"
Will never forget the teary-eyed Jones, in pre-stroke mode, sweatingly awaiting the Wikileaks "bombshell" which turned out to be a flavorless PSA from Assange. That pretty much sums him up for me, anyway.
Stop calling me Warren! My name isn't (kicks a box) fckin' Warren!!
If you're gonna die, then die historic on the Fury Road.
Bob and Doug McKenzie rep well
His character presence is heavily weighted; I have to wonder what direction they're going to make such a move.
Once they hit the real world, self-esteem withers away, the longer they live in their parent's basement. Eventually they find a way to leave the nest.
Plus "safe space" is played out, reduced to a go-to, weak barb utilized only by hardcore trolls. I frankly don't see how perpetuating humor about it could be fruiful. It seems they're overestimating the number of people who still care.
Most of us remember Adam from his salad days.
Gosh! Let me add a post-dated congratulations for a successful tour/movie! With all that awesomeness, it will pretty much produce itself.
T-minus 30 days until campaign ends.
T-minus 45 days until backers receive standard "Sorry I spent all the money, tour is cancelled" email from a Carolla lackey.
