That’s fair. I’m not saying those picks can’t ever be something legit, just that it seems unlikely that any of them are going to materialize into real players for, like five or six years.

Admittedly, I’m not an expert in these things but it sure looks like OKC traded both Westbrook and George and got back nothing but a fuck ton of picks that are probably going to be in the mid or late 20's(and SGA). Is that really the best basis for a rebuild?
Russ for Kyle Lowry and another couple firsts. Let’s keep this going baby! No hangovers!
...Shit.
Hooray for America!
I don’t think anyone truly believes that we disrespect the game or disrespect our opponents. We have the utmost respect for England and every team that we face.
Yeah, I don’t imagine Kerfoot matters much to the Avs as you’ve got Jost around who should probably get an expanded role. He’s a nice piece for the Leafs though as behind Tavares and Matthews we didn’t have many good options for a #3 even with Spezza now in the fold.
Unless my math is off, I don’t believe they’re in the Atlantic division.
I think they’ve got some internal options to replace the grit. The defenseman they got from Ottawa, Harpur, seems like a rough kid and Mason Marchment with the Marlies might make the team now that Brown’s gone.
Well said. Naz was a dirtbag but, dammit, he was our dirtbag.
Now we just need the teams to somehow conspire to get Marner and Rantanen signed for a reasonable amount.
Sad to see Naz go but the sort of thing the Leafs couldn’t possibly pass up, especially with Kerfoot being able to step into the role of #3 centre that Kadri vacates.
1. That brand I was referring to was that of Kevin Durant, not the Warriors.
You mock but I’m sure in 20 years some Silicon Valley Douchebag will be taking his kid to their first game, point up at Durant’s retired jersey and say “You see, Little Elon, that jersey belonged to Kevin Durant. An extremely online weirdo who played here for three years in the service of building a brand nobody cares…
Kessel usually wraps his casino visits just after dinner time, the sources said.
So if any of you were wondering what it would take for any free agent to choose to sign with a James Dolan team, the answer is for the other option to be the Islanders.
Man, KD and Kryie to the Nets, Kemba to the Celtics, Horford and J-Rich now to the 76ers and the World Champion Toronto Raptors? I’d sure hate to be the 5th team in the Atlantic, whoever they are.
Just wait. I’m sure it’ll turn out that Kemba doesn’t believe in, like, Newton’s second law of motion.
This one really surprises me. Not that the Celtics would want him or he’d sign there but just that the Hornets somehow fucked this up. It sounds like they were reluctant to give him this money which just baffles me.
