It’s not that I necessarily disagree with you about what a Ref should do where “should” is a stand-in for what we’d ideally like to see NHL officiating be about but that what you’re saying is absolutely inconsistent with how NHL games tend to be officiated. 

Every single fan of every hockey team I know can probably rattle off the big playoff no-calls that hurt their team the worst.
