Very well then. In the GBBO context, let me put on my best Paul Hollywood and say that while they’re nailing the presentation and technical aspects of the bake, I think they’re letting us down on flavours. 

Annoyed is too strong, I think. The show’s still fun. There are still some good performances. The dialogue is snappy.

Ok. I didn’t watch Bunheads and I only sort of watched Gilmore Girls but neither of those are cultures I knew anything about so I couldn’t have spoken to how they felt either way.

But it seems like she’s confirming in that very statement that it’s not her version of judaism. She’s saying her relationship with Judaism was, effectively, similar to mine. A holidays and family sort of thing where the culture of being Jewish mattered more than the actual religion.

The show’s whole relationship with Judaism seems off. I think the argument re: Clemens is that there should be a middle ground between “Steroids make you forever tainted and unworthy” and “Steroids shouldn’t enter the conversation at all” and that middle-ground should be “Steroids impacted stats and so you can’t just compare the numbers of juiced guys to unjuiced guys…
