Million dollar idea: “Fuel Sharknado intake”
Million dollar idea: “Fuel Sharknado intake”
You say “fall off a cliff” like it’s a bad thing. It was great for me as I got our off-lease 2016 Nissan Leaf for just over $12K
Downside: The range was down to just 81 Miles when we got it.
Upside: The range dropped so much afterwards (now at 64 miles) I’m getting a new, larger battery for free (range loss is covered un…
Agreed. My only thought is “was there something about the low-slung battery pack that prevented this?”
Okay, really my first thought was “VW are idiots.”
Some planes actually do have sensors that measure the landing gear pressure (and therefore the weight of the plane)
Not sure where you got those numbers from as the general consensus is HSR (electric) comes out around 1/4 the CO2 of airplane travel.
The general rule is 1/4t of CO2 per person hour and even a specific calculator says one-way from SFO to LAX puts out ~150 kg of CO2 per person (economy class)
20kg per person seems...…
Go with L2 charging. A 40 Amp circuit right next to my breaker (dryer-style plug) only cost me a ~$120 (neighbor’s a licensed electrician)
I have a license, but I never actually passed a car driving test.
I got my motorcycle licence in Massachusetts when I was 18 (I know, crazy to only have a moto licence with New England weather) - I follow the DMV guy to parking lot. Do a circle to the left, then right, then a figure eight.
Bam. Moto license.
Later, when…
We’re never going to get flying cars.
Because reasons:
A) Driving an aircraft on the street is a terrible idea. Everything from the risk of damaging your fragile aircraft to meeting crash rating requirements comes to mind.
B) Why would you even want to drive a plane on the street? If the aircraft gets you close to your …
Ahem. “Monostrada.”
How good is the whole cornering ABS, throttle by wire package?
Does it detract from or enhance the riding experience?
Nope.
With off-lease Leafs (Leaves?) having a similar range and a price of around $15-17K (and that’s at current, pandemic pricing) I’ll take a pass.
Hey Jason! Is anal-retentive hyphenated or not?
Given this article, I figured you’re the right guy to ask!
(I kid)
That feeling. Except you also reflexively check for your wallet and you realize you left your ID at home.
Replace the starts and bars with a Swastika.
Does your argument still feel as comfortable to you?
Or if it does change your life to not use it...
... you should probably re-examine your life.
This is the norm in many cities in Mexico and has been for years.
Well, with tacos, not chicken sandwiches.
They say if you put your ear on the rail you can hear it coming...
