Whoa, whoa, WHOA! A link to how BMW motorcycles are made as well?  You, kind sir, have just taken up my afternoon in the best possible way.

I also love trucks and how-it’s-made style documentaries but I really like Black Sabbath....oh, nevermind!

I’m impressed that it’s driven in the Chicago area for all those winters and has no rust.

When I see David’s articles I hope the next project is in Miami so I can lend them my Jeep and be in the story. And Kristen, if you fly down to Miami I’d be happy to pick you up from the airport in my 911.

Great list with a lot of very valid points.  I’d also recommend the Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited, that was a real game changer in the Jeep and off-road scenes.  The TJ was cool but was frequently a second or third vehicle where families can daily a JKU.

Since we both own Honda roadsters, albeit yours is way cooler than mine, I can understand your points.

Good points.  I drove the new one on a track only and not the street so I can’t comment intelligently on both points but I was very impressed with its track performance and felt pretty involved regardless.

Matt, I have a ton of respect for you as an engineer and am blown away by your work so I’m interested in what you mean by saying the old NSX is objectively better than the new one. Subjectively I can understand but how is it objectively better?

It is the way, yo

Happy Honda Days from my S2000.  May the VTEC always kick in yo!

This is bullshit!  I just finished installing new rod bearings on the M3, valve retainers on the S2000, IMS bearing on the 911 and head gaskets on the WRX and now this?  WTF?

The obvious problem is that the i3 just looks dorky. A comparably priced Model 3 looks like a starship next to it and sells very well. For a car company that only sells a midsize sedan, a large sedan and a premium SUV that has recently made huge capital expenditures it’s no wonder Tesla isn’t profitable yet. I really

Take it off road and it’s tons of fun to drive.

None of these guys actually delivered pizza but I did.  Get a 4 cylinder Toyota pickup and call it a day.

If it’s like the BMW version, which uses the exact same controller, it has a foam sleeve to keep it in the cup holder.

You’d love the one on the M2 even more!  Exact same controller but way better sound. It also has a foam sleeve that lets it fit in the cup holder without moving.

Awesome news and great writing to cover it.  My guess is Tesla needs to build track experience for the upcoming Roadster.

I was wondering why I haven’t seen your always excelllent work in a while. I see you’ve been busy!

Mine was that the flight was from Miami to Nassau.  That officially makes him Florida Man.

Didn’t the 1980’s have very restrictive exhaust noise laws?  I’m having a hard time thinking of too many great sounding stock 80’s cars.
