yeah I copped to missing that on first viewing upthread too - I have no problem with the show going there, and the scene works even better in that light ..

I don't intend to make excuses for Lynch here; I get the impression he comes from a good place but ultimately you or I only see certain aspects of the man and you can make your own judgements..
I thought it might be one of them lumberjack spirit folk as seen in FWWM … ?
it's cool, the neighbour will call 1-1-9!!!! if there are any problems ..
y'know I gotta admit, while watching the ep I didn't really consider that Diane had previously encountered EvilCoop but the scene make a lot more sense in that light.
David Byrne will be the one for me.
I get a little reflective when artists I've enjoyed pass on, but it rarely affects me deeply. Byrne's passing, should he go before me (and he's got a good 20+ on me!) will be the one that gets me emotionally.
honestly. not trying to be cool or whatever; it's actually annoying.

McCartney would undoubtedly agree.
well I shall endeavour to check it out !
I can't top that.
I was raised by wolves, might account for it.
But nah, just does not do it for me, the melody is too saccharine for me and the little counter melodies just grate.
even 'I Get Around'?

song puts me to sleep.
sometimes it pays to skip the main article (I don't usually, but goddamn ..)
same, couldn't care less if it's simpler music, waaaay more enjoyable.
not the biggest fan of that song, but definitely not a poor track; very chilled and the production is superb.
very good point regarding Penny Lane and particularly Strawberry Fields, would elevate an already landmark album to even greater heights.
I have never heard a perfect album.
always going to get completely subjective answers, there's just no point ranking them.
The scene with a young James Incandenza enduring his father's insecurities over missed opportunities is one of the funniest things I've read.
"Here lies a promising old man".
