as with all the Trip films, I will skip the full experience and skip straight to the Youtube clips of the (often very funny) impersonations.

I will concede that her character became more irrelevant and unevenly written as S2 wore on - but in the early parts of S2 she was fine-to-good.

really? I understand Lara Flynn Boyle has developed a reputation as a difficult, flaky person over the years, but - and I have recently re-watched S1+2 of TP - she was clearly the best young actress on the show at the time.

I loved and obsessed over the original S1&2 of Twin Peaks in my teens - however I never engaged with any of the online stuff in the intervening years and I had no idea that James' song from S2 was so 'controversial' and reviled. I was surprised.

you'd really wanna know your stuff if you're gonna publicly rank the Beatles songs - this Vulture guy makes a few errors that'd get right up the noses of Beatles obsessives (e.g. talking about McCartney's 'rambling bass line' on Two of Us - Harrison plays the part on the low strings of his guitar).

I've been doing a re-watch of the original seasons in-between Return
episodes and honestly, despite her off-screen rep as a problematic
presence she is just superb in the first season.

I don't really care about the AV Club grades, but did glance at the grade before I watched this ep and thought I might be in for a let-down of sorts - I was literally smiling at episode's end so I got no complaints.
