As a public school teacher and NEA member, I can understand the push for charter schools, tuition credits and for-profit schools. What angers me about DeVos is how hard she fights against transparency.

Also the tax cut that largely benefits the wealthiest among us. The “new” “cheaper” healthcare that makes workers dependent on employers again, has little to none of the ACA protections, and comes in a deceptively low price point designed to leech healthier, younger payer away from the ACA rolls.
Of course she doesn’t. She doesn’t even know the first thing about public education. She’s never taught, she’s never been an administrator, didn’t work for a teacher’s union...nothing. Her family absolutely decimated public education in Michigan, and did it for nothing other than to break unions and for profit.
It’s quite telling that the poor insurance workers are having crocodile tears shed for them when manufacturing and agricultural workers were told to get with the times, get trained and join the information economy.
