If I stole from someone and was not caught, I would be pretty foolish to go confess my crime in an apology, wouldn't I? Honestly, I have yet to see a case where someone said "You are only apologizing because you got caught" where I did not feel the person just did not want to give consideration for the apology. It is

I agree. The whole "therapists" comment is foolish. It is not enough to criticize the decision for being inappropriate. The critics have to pretend the kids are injured by the experience. Just like finding my dad's stack of dirty magazines warped me for life... Yeah, right.

"Translation: mothers are stressed because they feel like they're aren't getting the help they need, whereas fathers are stressed because they feel like they aren't getting the blow jobs they need."

Divorce statistics are inflated by people who get married and divorced several times over their life. Among American women, 70% of first time marriages never end up in divorce, legal separation, annulment, etc..

Getting condoms does not lead to more sex. If it did, we would have little trouble getting teenage boys to have and use condoms. I tried it in high school and it did not work. I had friends who made sure to always have in-date, properly stored condoms available and they did not get to use them.

This... is not true. The DNA in sperm cells is tightly packaged for transport and almost none of it is being expressed. When a sperm cell is released, it has what it has and is making no new content. It either gets to its destination or it dies on the way.

My guess is that if you surveyed women in the top 40 of music in the past year, you would get a lot of fully clothed signers.

You need to talk to a friend of mine who is a pediatric endocrinologist. She complains that ethical standards prevent her from going to the police. This whole concept of not sharing with the doctor is lost on her because she justifies it with the worst cases she has ever heard of (not personally seen, but heard of).

Bei Bei Shuai's child was already born when it died. Regardless of pro-choice or pro-life views, I could see any prosecutor pursuing this. The prosecutor in that case is showing the normal jerk behavior of prosecutors (e.g., making a myriad of public statements about the case, then threatening the defense for

It would not be allowed in the United States. Cruz was unable to attend her own court hearing which is a violation of Constitutional Sixth Amendment rights in the Untied States.

I did not know if what you wrote was true, so I Googled. The third link told the story of Jennie Linn McCormack in Idaho. All this absurdity and injustice disappears if you vote pro-choice. Cruz's case shows what happens if the pro-lifers get everything they want.

I have seen the same happen to public defenders and corrections officers. I don't understand why people look down on anyone in law who is not a criminal prosecutor or police officer. They all serve the public, including the defenders who keep the police and prosecutors honest and the corrections officials who help

I live in Bryan, Texas. I live very close to the Federally Qualified Health Care Center that is being touted by the pro-lifers as an alternative for those who just lost their health care. Never mind that many students and ordinary residents don't qulify for that aid. Never mind that the place is always over capacity

"teacher who was sentenced to a mere 30 days in jail after being convicted of raping a 14-year-old student"

I agree with you 100%, ellle101. This article made me cringe hard. It puts entertainment before science.
