But would it be unethical to replace all pictures of Trump with giant orange dildos?

It still amazes me how many people don't understand the concept of free speech. You're a moron.

If you receive US mail in terrible conditions, you are a garbage person. End of story.

But if the restaurant closes or decides to suspend delivery than all those drivers simply won’t get paid... which people would say is also a garbage situation. What’s the win-win scenario? Suspend delivery but still pay the delivery guys?

That’s completely absurd. The last time a major snow storm happened here I ordered delivery, had the guy come inside for a bit to get out of the cold and warm up, gave him a generous tip and then sent him on his way. Don’t get mad because employers have drivers work during crap conditions; that’s not my fault. I would

“You’re deciding that it’s not worth going out in that bad weather, but you’re fine with making lower-income guy do it.”

The same way we all save for unexpected disasters. You save the money, and if by April you didn’t need the chains, you put the fund toward your savings, or something nice for yourself, or save it for next year.

Who is taking advantage of them? Asking someone who’s at work to do their job (and paying them extra due to the circumstances cuz the tip is going to be much, much higher than normal) is not taking advantage of them.

What kind of fairly-land dream-world do you live in? If the establishment is open, then it’s the owner that’s the garbage person, not the consumer who’s simply paying for a service. If you chose to show up for work, and the customer tips well, you’ve got nothing to bitch about, you whiny little cunt.

What if you’re disabled and the power is out in your neighborhood, but not out in businesses close enough to deliver. You can’t go out, you can’t cook. Should you subsist on crackers or be a “garbage person” and order a warm meal via delivery? I ask because this happened to my mom last winter during a storm and yes,

Nope. This is all on the employer. If it’s too dangerous for deliveries, they should stop offering deliveries. It’s the employer who has the responsibility of care. Also, if you are a delivery driver who thinks its too dangerous to go out, then don’t. They can’t force you to. If your employer threatens to fire you

If you rely so desperately on your job, yet you cannot even save $7 a month (Like $2 a week) to purchase snow chains for your tires (Decent snow chains are $60) your just not preparing enough for your climate.

Don’t you mean, “if you own a company and pay your employees to deliver food during a terrible snowstorm, you are a terrible person”?

Seriously. If you’re open for business, you can’t be mad that I’m giving you business.

exactly - this is typical Gawker nonsense - is it ethical to expect someone to do the job they’re paid to do - as if anyone is forced to do any job... particularly as Gawker writers write from home...

Right?!? Now the owner of said establishment is a real piece of work but that’s not on me. I’m hungry and will tip well and you’re open.

No, it seems like they are a hungry person. If you are a delivery driver and you neglected to outfit your vehicle for winter weather like a responsible person it is your fault. Delivery is meant to be a convenience, and taking advantage of it makes you nothing more than a consumer.

To be fair, grass is a gateway drug.

Jesus Christ, can’t a team just LOSE and blame it on scoring less points than the other team anymore?
