Children are going to be in for a surprise this December when they receive canned meats.
Pretty sure Seinfeld/Friends pushing Cheers out of 11PM re-runs was when my dad gave up. If only he had some microwave bacon.
She's gone already, Chief.
Don't let 'em give you any of that flank steak bullshit. You know what I mean? Try the London Broil.
Would you like to buy a monkey?
Yes and Robert Loggia was the only one who seemed to notice.
At the time, it seemed like "the next crop" of directors, all decided to make the next Terrence Malick film. GW was a pretty good one, but I found something like Lynne Ramsay's Ratcatcher much better, with half the acclaim.
I think my problem with Green is that he doesn't seem to have a voice of his own. This isn't always necessary, as genre directors can get away with this, but DGG seems to be taken as more than that. For the most part, I find his "films" to be him making a facsimile of whatever director he is into at the moment, and…
Me too. I actually think Jody Hill is significantly more talented than DGG, and understands moments, and tonal shifts, better than most higher regarded directors, but the stigma of "comedy," especially the type he and McBride do, has uptight dipshits not recognize it as often.
I fucking hated this movie.
Yes, I thought it was pretty good but vastly overrated, and highly unoriginal.
40+ years of deception.
The Man From Nowhere.
Saturday Night Live. It's mostly Sunday Morning. And not very funny.
This was the one movie I agreed with the David Gordon Green hype.
Lets blame PewDiePie then.
Meanwhile people YOUNGER have them all on vinyl. Strange times.
Yes. I was fully prepared to blame my ISP a few nights ago, but turns out it was only Youtube.
Alice has got The Bends.
