It was a bit of dark, sarcastic humor. That’s the joke. It’s not stand-up, for Christ’s sake.

Shocking: when slavery was legal, people partook in it. Who could have guessed??? As tragic as the fate of the indigenous people was, they really haven’t done much for the history of the country.

Does it really matter what race they are? If you’re a fan of wrestling, you shouldn’t care. Also, because blacks only make up ~14% of the population, it makes sense there wouldn’t be too many.

You do know that the civil war wasn’t JUST about slavery, don’t you? General Lee, for example, was asked to lead the Union army, but instead chose to fight for his home state. These statues represent the average soldier, which didn’t even own slaves. Also, they didn’t declare war on the US. They just left the Union.

I don’t understand. Why would you name your team after something bad? Nobody would name a team the Chicago sh!theads. Racism only applies in a negative context. You would never want something degrading to represent your city in the national level.

Actually, it’s because he’s a mediocre player at best.

Sorry, what nations, exactly, did he destroy? Like it or not, he essentially opened the New World to European colonization, and that is an incredibly important achievement, especially in the history of the America’s and the United States. It’s not celebrating anything besides his discovery.

It’s so obviously a joke. “We only kill black people, right?” That is so sarcastic that you would have to be retarded not to see it. People use humor to make light of serious situations. Get over it, seriously.

If you can yell “I can’t breathe!” You can breathe. Also, in the dark, with a dark completion, it’s hard to tell the physical attributes of a person. If they truly believed she may have been the suspect, they had every right to use whatever force they deem necessary.

Those statues don’t “glorify” anything. They honor the memory of ancestors that were lost in the bloodiest war in American history. Even if they were originally put up to scare minorities, so what? None of those people are alive today, and the statues have taken on a new meaning. They are so old, they should be

Really??? The image wasnt even real. They weren’t inciting violence, they weren’t abusing anyone. This is a harmless joke, taken too seriously by snowflakes that can’t deal with the real problems of society.

And wanting to burn everything down ISNT evil?

Because this isn’t a war zone??? It’s a first world country where issues are resolved with words, and not violence?
