People have been misusing the term “uncanny valley” for years and years and there’s no going back. I hate it.
I’m legit curious do some people think that GTA VI isn’t a thing that’s going to happen? I understand the sadness at not playing a new instalment of a favorite franchise—I’ve had TWO mainline single player Final Fantasy games since 2009—but they have to know it IS happening, right?
I don’t know what would have been…
GG Strive, maybe. But have fun trying to do an SNK pretzel (↙➡↘⬇↙⬅↘) or the SF Rolling Izuna Drop motion (Hold↙, then↘↙↗) on Hitbox. lol
I really, really hope that Guilty Gear’s newfound success and comments like this light a fire under Japanese FG devs’ asses that the community just won’t tolerate the awful netcode they’ve gotten for so long anymore.
“Re-purchase”? What would compel someone to dispose of one of--if not the--best game of all time? Also the resale value of games is generally pretty sad, which makes this an extra weird take from someone writing for a gaming site.
Of course!

See, Yoshida, no matter what you do there WILL still be people in America writing novels about dumb shit in your game’s first trailer.
I’m not Mexican, I’m Puerto Rican. I’m annoyed that about 95% of Latino culture is left on the cutting room floor for stereotypical Mexican and chicano signifiers.
I don’t know why this needs to be said, but if you’re Latino and not offended, that’s cool. That doesn’t make this not-offensive to some of us.
Nioh 2 could have been great? It is pretty great.
Yep. I think they fixed the lighting on this version, they make it quite clear it’s white.
Hoping that’s the PS5 boot-up tune.
I expect more moves and shake ups as they STILL don’t know when they can start filming again, with one site saying August and another site saying 2021
even if you did, its not like most games even allow you to play them straight off the disk anymore. disks nowadays are almost just glorified activation codes. you cant even play offline with just the disk alone without connecting to internet and downloading the rest of the game. you might as well get a spare ps4 game…
Pricing it at $599 in 2020 would not be “pulling a PS3" either. They’d need to price it at $700-$800 for it to be the same level of jaw dropping that the PS3 was in 2006.
I also am not interested in some things other people seem to like.
You totally forgot the best one from E3 2013:
