This is such a petulant, uniformed take that only an entitled child would think is “rational.” Like, why do you NEED to know what a developer is going to make for the next ten years? Not even a guaranteed timeline, at that.

Get cooked in the replies to you. Reap what you sow, I guess.

Not bad, but I still prefer the appropriate regional variant more.

It’s only weird until you remember that Capcom did it first:

Your experience feels very similar to mine. I began the game almost detesting Iron Man. Hated the flight mechanic, hated the rockets which felt puny the first time I tried them out - and what was with that Overload Heroic anyway??

Post campaign, he was the first character I leveled to 150. Now (after getting used to

It’s also a technique known in Tekken as “chicken”: when you hit an opponent by reversing his reversal. Then the announcer will call out “CHICKEN!”

If you look at the video for this in motion, it’s clear (to me anyway) that they are showing the white controller under very heavy shadow:

Alexandra had me at “Neo-Geo Pocket.”

Congrats to all the newcomers and up-and-comers.

It’s “bad” because, why? Because consoles these days are being made with increasingly expensive components usually found in higher end PCs? Are these companies somehow expected to keep seven year old price points for newer technology?

You misunderstand - when I say people “accept” PS5 coming in at $499 - they’re not

They’re not “doing a PS3.” To do that, Sony would have to price the thing at $599, and they’re never going to touch that number with PS5 no matter how expensive to make the console ends up being.

$499 has been the expected, and pretty much accepted by now price for quite awhile now. Anyone expecting it to be $400 or

My story is a tad shorter, but I remember helping my friend crack open the first shipment received in the game store where he worked, and I claimed one of those chunky PS1 cases for my own - and though I missed the likes of Locke, Terra and company - this new group brought their own memories, similar to yours.

The one in the header (lol) looks like a severed penis to me.

It’s making me feel uncomfortable.

Other SNK games, not Neo-Geo. Wanted to amend my post that but I got distracted.

Not a new character. That is Shiki, who first appeared in Samurai Shodown 64, and has made occasional appearances in other Neo-Geo games.

Miharu Hirano from Tekken will probably be my favorite videogame selfie taker.

Here she is posing with every character in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (which was practically everyone in the history of Tekken).

Just read the Japanese version has Armored Core, Arc the Lad 1 and 2, Parasite Eve and Devil Dice.

I’m salty AF right now.

No Tomb Raider is such an egregious oversight, I barely know where to begin. No Wipeout is just as bad.

Resident Evil 2 could have been a better marketing choice with the PS4 remake coming shortly thereafter.

Enjoy playing MGS without a DualShock controller...

Honestly, I wasn’t solely thinking about Nintendo’s retro stuff when I mentioned that - I was also referring to the Neo-Geo Mini, which even though it uses a USB-C port, it doesn’t seem to recognize anything but the gamepads they made for it (even with a standard adapter). Brooks Design is already working on a

Yeah, like I was saying...you absolutely can play this without the Dual Shock, but that’s not what people fondly recall about that fight, either. We’ll see.

Unfortunately, Sony doesn’t tend to foster that kind of synergy in their own products. You can’t use a Dual Shock 3 natively on a PS4 and it took them awhile to implement Dual Shock 4 compatibility to PS3. But like I said, I hope Sony proves my skepticism wrong.

That’s not even confirmed, either. But if they’re going with the original PS controllers (aesthetically, these controllers appear the same) - those did not have rumble. Rumble came with the DualShock analog controllers. It could be assumption on my part but if they’re going for accuracy, then there wouldn’t be rumble
