I totally agree. The demo was just to hit all the marks and show everything. I have no doubt you’ll at least be able to sprint through the areas.
R. Mika will forever be a terrible choice unless Capcom gives her a move makeover like they did Birdie. Terrible throw range for a grappler and three versions of a butt attack. Useless running super combo...why is she popular again? Obviously the appeal is all visual and little else.
I think you’re being a wee bit hard on Doom. At least it feels more like Doom than Doom 3 did. Definitely slow but it touched the nostalgia buttons more for me.
Agree on everything else though. They’ve even given up on Playstation TV already.
Cad Bane had Boussh-like thermal detonators that he did in fact toss. Call it artistic liberties.
Thermal Detonators...bruh, do you even SW?
Fuji-koma Oranges?
Ginger Psycho Mantis. That is all.
Were they...Big Shell Tacos?
In the case of both Pac Man and WoW - the right games made it in first. Of course we know Ultima and EverQuest were the pioneers but I don’t think they’ve ever captured the cultural awareness of WoW.
The rumor itself was talked about, yes. This is the first time I’m hearing about Nintendo denying it.
I know that Kaz Twitter is fake but I wish it wasn’t so dipped in almost-truth. Though I have been enjoying the Japanese game boom on the thing. Give me Persona: Dancing All Night already!
Gamer Christmas and Super Bowl, baby. I used to take the day off of work for the Sony presser until they started scheduling later (me being an East Coaster). It’s not always a slam dunk each annoucement but still exciting in a way.
Heck of a lot more than people are playing Tekken right now.
Well, we still have Sonya - who is at least in her upper 40’s kicking ass in MKX. That alone is a minor miracle. She’s not gray or anything, but baby steps I guess.
See, as long as I go into a movie without the preconception that it’s going to be terrible (and who would think that about an Avengers movie?), I can completely invest myself in it, regardless of plot holes or script issues....turning off my brain, if you will. So a lot of things I’m sure others will bring up…
Ah, okay. No harm, no foul then. And I agree.
Well, you had me with you there until you called the man’s work “offensive.” We agree to disagree on that part.
Quite the opposite actually. I would have pegged you as too young to understand the term. ;) But “cool art” works as well!
Adam Hughes is simply amazing, pigeonholing him as simply a “cheesecake artist,” sort of does him a slight disservice (his work with Lucasfilm properties such as Star Wars and Raiders are especially great) but I’m guessing he doesn’t mind. He is very, very good at what he’s known for, and it’s usually just the right…
