Hey, Doug! I see the GT-R is going to the Simeone Museum, that’s some rare air it’s going to be breathing :)

I thought all the non-Z06 corvettes got the removable roof panel... One wonders if the salesperson neglected to educate him on how the emergency door releases and the roof release work, or if maybe he forgot- either way, it's just speculation. The XLR, CTS coupe, ELR, and pretty much anything else with electrically

I always thought they were a hedge fund that happened to produce a few cars on the side.

A friend of mine got sucked into some nutrition group on Facebook that gave almost exclusively misinterpreted or outright false information- she explained to me once that, because it has a higher protein-per-calorie content than beef, one could get all necessary protein from broccoli alone. I pointed out that the key

Under GM’s warranty maintenance program, Cadillac pays to replace it every 25k miles. I don’t see them paying for one under warranty unless it’s going to need one by that mileage. Obviously yes, some places are unethical- the same place that keeps a set of worn out brake pads on hand to wave at people who don’t know

$228k in Aussie bucks, so, what... $15.48 U.S.?

...yeah, $182kUSD is a lot for anything, especially a bike.

Yep, hence .2 hours of labor to do it- if it were harder to get to, it would cost more. Also, no, your cabin air filter won't last 50k miles- even GM pays for it every 25k miles under the free factory maintenance, and they aren't going to pay for something you don't need.

FYI, our cost from GM on a cabin air filter for a 2011 CTS is $28. Retail is $35 for the filter and $24 to put it in and reassemble the dash. I don't know where you're getting a $3 pollen filter, but by all means buy them by the pallet load and bring them on over here.

Most of the GM cars with that feature had them deactivated by the 1960s because the dash-mounted forward facing sensor switched them off whenever it detected your own headlights reflected back by a street sign- prior to that switchover to the reflective signs, they just went off under the street lights as you

The nomenclature can be easily explained:

Much like auto industry accounting practices, it's easier when the numbers are meaningless.

Someone needs to tell FoMoCo about three-abreast seating in a coupe- Think of the cost savings not converting LHD and RHD for different markets! :-p (I'd say GM, but they don't want to bring anything I like between markets anyway)

I won't say anything 'bad' about the Prowler, but if you've been to the Petersen museum in L.A . and seen Chip Foose's Hemisfear (the fully realized version of his design that the Prowler was based on) there's just so much there- for a car that cost as much as a 'vette when it was new, it just wasn't particularly

We had the only Saab Sonett I in the U.S. in our showroom back when the 2010 9-5 came out- it's an amazing little car. It will be at the Simeone Museum in Philly next month as part of a Saab display :)

Saab did that with rubber blocks in the front springs- it helped to keep the front end from scraping when being loaded and unloaded on and off the train from the factory, then the ship to the U.S., then the dealership. We had a few come in up to several years after being purchased (elsewhere- I'd crucify my guys for

Weird that the insurance was that much on it- I live reasonably nearby (though not IN the city, which I'm sure makes all the difference) and insure a 1963 Deville, a 1964 Corvair, and a 1994 Firebird Formula through Grundy (who are based in Philadelphia, handily enough) for a little over $350 a year for full coverage,

Damn, it's not big enough to house a Helicarrier. Maybe next week. :-p

I can't believe that Indy engine has held up to actual driving- I know the guy doesn't DD it or anything, but considering it wasn't really built to go more than a few hundred miles before getting torn down and rebuilt between races, it seems to do remarkably well.

Hell, Vermont Tuning has a stage 0 (meaning tune only, no add-on parts) tuner for this that'll bump it to 400 lb/ft and 320hp. You'll torque steer into the trees, just like a proper Saab should. :-)

I was JUST going to ask that. lol
