If a Tesla can run on 900 pounds of Li-ion, can a Camaro run on 1,500 pounds of NiMh?

@Coreboy: That's assuming we're all as wifty as May.

@Ash78, granny shifting: It disturbs me that I know exactly what you mean. Where do I drop off my testicles for the recall?

But check out the sick opposite lock... I'm sure the back end will come around just fine. Right?

@Dustin-The-Wind: I can't tell you how people usually react after riding in my car- they all believe that speed blur BS from the movies about nitrous. No, it's not going to break the tires loose at 80mph and shoot you instantly to 150mph. It's a little more pickup and the revs climb faster.

Both those pictures are of 2002-2006 Escalades... late model?

It's not the seller's fault that the interior looks like somebody killed a hooker in there, but it's still enough to drive me into CP territory on this one after the dubious body work.

@John Carter: Dammit Nibbles... It's a Spyker C8 Spyder, I assure you.

You can buy faster, but after seeing this car in person I'd say you're hard pressed to find a prettier car. And the interior! I'm having a crisis...

Come on now, a 1 series is itty bitty-a 3 series fighter is a pretty normal sized car. Wonder if they could shoehorn that LS-A in there.... :-D

@CompWizrd: In the U.S. the agreed value policy covers the comp and collision; I'm not sure if they offer the same thing in Canadia. :)

@True-Blue: now, let's go easy on the whorehouse avoidance- it DOES have a decent sized trunk, after all. :)

Ah, a couple of nice Irish boys.

Maybach (they're still around?) claims theirs will be grown, not built. And they said the Fisker Karma was vaporware. According to the outward appearance of most of these designs, in the future, steering will be entirely unnecessary.

@True-Blue: Fair enough; I justify it to myself by reminding myself that it's now about a 500hp car instead of the original 285hp or so- that rate's a bargain now! :-p

@CompWizrd: I put my '94 Formula on a collector policy through Grundy (I think I drove it about 500 miles in the last 2 years, almost all to shows or events) and it costs me about $100 a year. You can't use it as a DD, but I wasn't anyway (and it sounds like you don't either anymore). They're all agreed value policies
