@Isetta: Fun fact: that's exactly how he handled it afterwards. ;)

Police cars have been fitted with cameras for over a decade- why should any officer expect privacy?

Tell him to change his muffler bearings while he's at it.

@token_liberal: And I'd much prefer the '67 vette- I'll give you that one :)

1957 Chevrolet- I don't think they made anything truly ugly that year, and anything they did then became a classic.

@38thsignal: It wasn't me! It was Dietrich!

@jakebonz: Several news stories is apparently Jalop and Autoblog making reference to it- Cadillac's treating it as a press opportunity to show how dedicated some people are to the brand, but that's all I can find on it.

@Brian: Cogito Ergo ZOOM!: The article said that his insurance company paid to replace the truck, and his dealer had a similar one in stock- it didn't say they gave him anything. I do get where you were coming from, but in this case it's not implied in the article (but kind of is by Jalop) that Cadillac paid for it.

@AustinMiniMan: lol.... at least you've got a sense of humor ;)

@SerialThriller: Hey, if people want to bitch about something before they read the article (I know, it's the internet- what was I expecting?) then they get what they get.

@Steve_in_NC: Cadillac didn't give him anything- read the article, the insurance covered it.

@AustinMiniMan: Cadillac didn't give him anything- read the article, the insurance covered it.

His insurance company paid for it- read the article. Cadillac didn't 'give' him anything, he bought a Certified Escalade from his dealer.

@calzonegolem: "Isn't a parsec a unit of distance, not time?"

PETA killed 95% of adoptable animals in its care in 2008 alone- whatever you do, Dodge, don't turn the monkey over to them!! lol...

Why, the Reliant Robin, of course. I believe Top Gear has found plenty of ways to kill oneself in a Robin...
