How do you leave out one of the most influential Japanese powerplants - Mitsubishi's 4G63t? This engine put Mitsubishi on the map in WRC! This engine can (on BONE STOCK INTERNALS) put down 550whp all day. I would even venture to say that it may be one of the most over-built performance engines of all time.

Thank you. This is one of the most misunderstood aspects of forced induction. The net effect is higher air mass-flow, which means more fuel! Not to mention the fact that you are forcing exhaust through an obstruction which increases pumping losses.
