I’ll second your opinion. If its really stuck, go with a 6-point.

Lol. Yes this is what I meant. That’s an ugly one.
That’s the ticket. Hell, harbor freight sells a cheap-o set for like 5 bucks that work great.
The issue isn’t the metal going into the engine, it is that you can shear the filter in-half. Once that happens you pretty much need to do surgery to remove the remaining filter without damaging the gasket surface on the block.
Former master tech, current automotive engineer. I didn’t bother retaking my ASE’s after they expired after I got my engineering degree.
Former master tech here. Don’t do that, use a filter wrench. If the screw driver tears through the filter it becomes a disaster realllll fast.
Worth mentioning that the last gen Cruze held a hypermileage record. Rated mileage =/= real world... http://www.autotrader.com/car-news/coupl…
If you love various turbo I6s but can’t find anything that will fit your engine of choice... This is for YOU.
Hands down the most irritating advertising campaign I’ve ever seen:
My 1994 Nissan Maxima had a keypad, and I loved it. You could also roll down the windows by holding the #2 key... I don’t know what purpose that held, now that I come to think about it, but I bet it was groundbreaking in the late 80’s/early 90’s...
Fun Ford Fact: press 8 and 9 simultaneously on any Ford keypad vehicle and it locks the doors.
Is this what the Charger Hellcat looks like through a kaleidoscope?
More Blackflag!
All good advice, but that isn't how an AC dryer works. The dryer is part of the sealed refrigerant system and has no function in removing moisture from the air - it traps moisture in the refrigerant system to prevent corrosion/contamination of components from then the system was assembled.
"Go karts on dirt is amazing."
I've driven a 13 hp Fiat in traffic before. It was easily the scariest car I've driven.
Oh man, I can't wait to show my Dad this, he'll get a kick out of it. He used to race a Van Diemen in the mid-80's and apparently did pretty well for himself!
Actually, this was supposed to be positioned directly as an M3 beater. I had an in-depth discussion with Jim Wangers (Pontiac marketing manager at the introduction of the original GTO) at a car show around 2006 and he explained that they directly bench marked the M3, and made sure to beat it in every category.
That's Honda's race track - Twin Ring Motegi.
