On the other hand, getting ‘Manager’ on your resume is more important than getting a degree.  Once you were a manager for one thing people will hire you to manage pretty much anything.

exactly. In most blue collar work environments and industries, it’s the person with a degree who is in charge- even if they’re not the brightest. I got tired of working for idiots, so I got a degree.

Most people who want to go into management suck at managing both people and projects. LOL. You don’t need to go to college to be a a manager and it’s a pity that so many employers seem to think going to college makes one qualified to be a manager.
