Yeah, I saw them at the New Seasons in Beaverton. I’m sure they carry it in other stores around the Portland metro area.

I picked up skating a few years back and quickly realized I’m a lot more top heavy than I was in my teens.

Don’t be tempted to get the smaller street wheels. You’ll be much more happier with some nice soft wheels as they are more forgiving.

How can you not have Law & Order on this list? I loved that it was “all business” and you rarely caught glimpses of their personal lives. Just a bunch of supremely competent people all working together.

Oof..yes, if you asked a 20 year younger version of myself, watching The West Wing the first time around, I’d totally agree. I tried re-watching it recently and it’s pretty groan worthy. I can’t believe I thought that’s how people who worked in the White House really talked.

Russell Crowe playing Jeffrey Wigand in The Insider is a great example. I completely believed he could be an R&D executive.

I’m surprised he didn’t quote Rodney King: “Can’t we all just get along?”

Now playing

I was in my late teens in the Bay Area during Digital Underground’s heyday. Man - the stories I heard about their shows were unbelievable.

Yeah... also, every time is a little different, so you really have to use your nose and sense of touch to know when something is really done cooking.

I actually tried the cooking oil “trick” one time and nearly got the fire department called on me by concerned neighbors lol..

I went to school with a generation of Lazzari’s. Had no idea their family had a charcoal business until I saw the name on a bag after moving up to Oregon. I can’t seem to find it out here in Colorado, though. Must just be a west coast thing?

I started using the lump charcoal after I learned that my neighbor suffers from COPD. I always wondered why they closed their garage when I started grilling using standard briquettes. I like the lump briquettes because the smell and flavor is a little more natural to me and there seems to be less smoke. They also take

I grew up with family that liked to overload the grill with briquettes and dump half a container of lighter fluid on it, then proceed to cook everything until it was absolutely charred on the outside. It was a fiery, smoky, nasty, mess and completely turned me off to grilling.

Uh, you didn't have to tell anyone because it's pretty obvious by looking at you that you probably do a lot of illegal stuff in the dumbest and least planned out way possible.

I’m kinda feeling like someone should go check up on Grossman. You know, see if there’s freshly poured concrete on his property. Dude fits the serial/spree killer profile to a tee.

I’m torn, because my local Home Depot has a trans woman in a pretty high up managerial role. She goes out of her way to hire LGBTQ employees and every time I go you can also see that makeup in the customers who shop there.

Damn if they can't even get their messaging straight. Is LeBron some leftist anarchist or an elitist snob who should stick to counting his money?

He’s just pissed because he can’t openly say that word he really wants to say.

A conversation I had with a younger person:

Yes, because if there’s anything we can rely on it’s people being responsible when no one is watching. There’s a reason why there’s seatbelt laws.
