The point is the cop was acting how a defense attorney would by speaking on behalf of the person alleged to have done the crime. Whether he intended to or not, that cop was humanizing a monster who just murdered eight people. All we needed to know was his name and that he's no longer a threat to the public.

Same boat. My wife had even gone as far as to claim emotional trauma from her childhood prevents her from helping to keep our house clean. The funny thing is my own emotional trauma (growing up in a filthy house) is what motivates me to stay on top of cleaning.
