It’s stupider than that. Elon designed the Cybertruck based on an idea his CHILD had. And he rammed that design down his car company’s throat.

While I agree, there are plenty of HUUGE trucks on the roads around me that are little more than peepee extenders for the drivers.

LOL my brothers and I will sometimes “bzzzzz” at each other, all these years later, to go away.

Jeez the amount of federal investigations are certainly eyebrow raising.
When are these companies (and not just automakers) going to realize they need to stop dumping crap into the open market just to get sales?

“Look, at the end of the day,” Sandy is just jumping the shark.
IDK what happened to this guy, but now he just sounds like a butt-hurt shareholder/Musk-rider.
I recently subscribed to Munro Live several months ago. His staff are bright, and the technical videos were fascinating. I even liked a lot of Sandy’s

You seem mad that there’s all this news about Tesla all the time. When what you should really be mad about, is why Tesla keeps doing goofy things and making news all the time.

Dang, who would’ve thought that Stellantis would be the old ChryCo’s slumlord?
At least when Fiat came in, when they didn’t have enough to build, they put everyone to work cleaning up and refreshing/repairing the plants.

There’s a Tesla facility nearby (I think they do assembly robotics) and some of the jobs were really compelling.
But then I dove into the Indeed and Glassdoor reviews. OOOpphh, glad I passed that up.
Lots of turnover. Bad simp management that ran everyone ragged, etc etc.

Oh man! Memory Lane!
I remember when the Pontiac Aztec was revealed on Survivor!
All of us at home were like, “huhhh? what? (barf).”

Then there was the obnoxious Isuzu Axiom guy telling me “you don’t need an SUV, you need an Axiom! It’s built for the real world, with TWO suspension modes!”
And then for whatever reason,

I agree. And the difference is, when there’s flaws like that found at delivery for other brands, the dealer usually bends over backwards to get it fixed ASAP. The last thing they want is to jeopardize the recent new sale.
I had a squeaky panel in the Grand Cherokee I bought. A week later I took it back to the dealer,

What a bunch of baloney when my first-year Jeep product blows even a Model Y out of water on fit and finish in its (checks notes)... fourth year!

You have a point. Especially when lots of YouTube review vids for the Lucid Air, while glowing, all seem to tout the $100k+ models.
Not only do people still not know who Lucid is (except for Tesla owners, in my experience, LOL) but those who do know, think they only make six figure products.

Exactly. It’s gross, but the Saudi Fund owned a majority, or almost majority share in DaimlerChryslerBenz back in the day.

I know that’s my favorite.
Especially all the billionaires and world Titans building their bunkers for themselves and their ilk.
Could you imagine that many Type A personalities in bunker full of survival food and electricity.
They’re doomed LOL!

I think you’re right.
He’s totally jumped the shark on making “business decisions.”
This had to be personal, people-based decision, for whatever reason rubbed his feefees the wrong way.

I mostly agree but I think you underestimate the absolute brutality of being outside at all times. Almost entirely with no shelter.
My L2 at home is in a comfy cozy garage.
Many of the ChargePoint chargers are very well built with high quality materials. But sitting in the elements for a few years and they look like

Sure, Ok I could maybe buy that. But isn’t that why you maybe relocated or disband 33% of the team, and NOT all the senior leadership? IF it’s still going to be a critical division, the division would still live in “sustain” mode. Not be lopped off entirely.

These moves, with the charging team the latest cut, should be red flags X 1million to the BOD, and seriously look at ditching Musky.
Unless Musk truly believes the next Presidential admin. is going to shut off the funding tap for charging infrastructure??? (Which is even more baffling because his homeboy is

JFC....Their awesome charger network was the last bastion of Tesla I was even rooting for and impressed with. Now that it’s essentially GONE, F-em. I hope they crash n burn.
I hope this is an opportunity for VW or GM or ChargePoint, whoever, to gather up all those people, and make an awesome charging network.
Honestly,

I got a front seat to this type of behavior.
I once volunteered to work bake sale service for Relay for Life cancer charity, at this large aerospace firm (not Boeing, haha).
For two days we sat in one of the 5 cafeterias raising money.
Do you know who gave the most money?
The shop floor workers, engineers, office
