We use a meal planning service (eMeals, in case you’re curious) that offers MANY menus and diets. Our approach has been to gradually add more vegetarian/vegan meals into our weekly menu. First it was meatless Monday, and we’re not down to only one or two meals that include meat, and usually fish or chicken. Red meat

It’s also the only “milk” our kids actually like, and we’ve been through them all. It works great for baking, too.

You can go full vegan, but as with all unbalanced diets, you have to be careful. Some important nutrients that are abundant in animal products are hard to find in plants and vice versa.

Oat milk is a really good alternative for dairy in coffee and lattes. It’s got a very creamy feel and taste.

I had gotten down to one meat-based meal per day, sometimes none at all, and then I got sick and lost 75 lbs., mostly muscle mass, so I’ve been eating a lot of meat lately (mostly poultry with occasional beef).

I’m gonna need to start stepping down eventually - once my weight has stabilized.

I don’t think I’ll ever go

All I could think when I saw that pic is, they’re all probably named Darryl.

He looks like it is only a matter of time before he accepts a Herman Cane Award.

I do not understand why so many MAGA men have the meat head/goatee/wraparound mirrored sunglasses look. All of them.

Weird! Dad has wraparound shades he never takes off, questionable facial hair to cover his no-chin and a ball cap to cover his bald head!  I totally would have pegged him as making completely different lifestyle choices.

This just in, the Governor changed his mind after someone said this might have been a very late term abortion.  He is now asking that the teen be killed on a cross during his state of the state address to make sure the whole state understands how things work in Texas.  (sarcasm)

He meant to roll coal. If his stupidity resulted in someone getting seriously hurt, he needs to pay the price. His parents obviously put the idea in his head, and allowed him to drive a huge truck. While kids are not known for making good choices to begin with, this goes beyond “I didn’t mean to”. For example, a bank

Didn’t mean to hit them and run them over, definitely meant to harm them physically and emotionally. Also definitely meant to do it with an illegally modified vehicle. Hopefully it’s a stern lesson.

His mother and father were siblings.

The “box” being “actor”? He’s offended that she calling someone who acts an “actor”? He was being a d***.

I will disagree with you re: C-pillar and sportback styling.

I have owned an RV and a boat and was gleefully dancing in the streets when I sold both. just tired of the constant expensive (even if you do it yourself) maintenance.

Agree. For most, staying in hotels is far cheaper.

In the way back times of 2010, Progressive’s version of that used an OBDII scanner plugged into the car.  You kept it for some number of months and uploaded the data with a USB connection to your computer, IIRC.  Kept track of what time of day you’d usually drive, braking events, speed, the usual.  At the time I lived

It’s almost like the algorithm assumes everyone lives in a sparsely-populated suburban setting with wide, straight roads, ample sight lines, and no other (unpredictable, incompetent, crazy) people...

I’ve driven a number of cars that attempt to rate your driving on some criteria: safety, efficiency, performance, whatever. And you know what I’ve learned? These practices do not make you a better driver. What they do is train you to drive to fit the idiosyncratic criteria of whatever algorithm is evaluating you, and
