I grew up in Alabama and graduated from Auburn, and I can assure you that it IS a bunch of stereotypical Southern people talking about nothing. But they’re utterly convinced they’re talking about THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IMAGINABLE.
I know his show is a running joke among certain college football fans on the internet, but I don’t know anyone who actually listens regularly and earnestly. Of course I don’t live in the south and don’t know that many SEC football fans, so my experience isn’t representative.
Serious question: does anyone here actually listen to the Finebaum Show? What’s the point? I hear ads for it every five minutes in the ESPN Radio app, and it just sounds like a bunch of stereotypical Southern people talking about nothing.
