It looks like this just bans “gag clauses” in contracts but doesn’t necessarily outright ban suing for negative reviews. That’s a good thing, since it should probably still be legal to sue for outright defamation.

It’s probably never actually a good idea to sue from a PR standpoint no matter how big of a lie it is,

I’ve deescalated multiple times by talking to the dog like it was a cute little puppy. I swear it screws with their head that you should be afraid but you aren’t. On the other hand, if it’s truly a feral dog, throwing rocks is usually a good option.

Mandolines are evil. Get a kevlar glove for ~$10 and throw away the safety guard.

WD-40 actually works awesome for removing crayon from hard surfaces including computer monitors. I learned this when someone let their little monster loose in my office after hours with access to crayons.

Each of the components has great documentation. I installed Plex for the backend and for streaming to other devices, Kodi w/ the Plex & NextPVR plugins runs the frontend on the actual HTPC. MCEBuddy basically just watches your recordings directory then runs the profile you set up when it sees new files.

I prefer to do my reencodes in the middle of the night, but this would work if you have a really nice CPU that could keep up.

I’ve still been using Kodi w/ the Plex plugin mostly because of the DVR features. Once this feature becomes more mature (live tv locally, auto commercial skipping, reencoding) it’ll be nice to switch to just one program.

Right now I use Kodi to record and watch, then I have an MCEBuddy script that cuts out

Traveling with CPAP sucks. It especially sucks if you need to sleep somewhere without power.

Pretty much. Either that or something along the lines of, “Does a DC15 Dex check sound fair? OK? Roll.”

I was always taught that ideally you’d try to run somewhere visible before you pass out, or failing that use a chair back to give yourself the heimlich.

I was friends with the current Russian olympic modern pentathalon coach when I spent some time over there years ago. Watching them train was pretty cool. I should ask him off the record how bad they were doping back then.

If you’re willing to DM, you will always be able to find players. That’s how I’ve had to do it. I started out as a DM before I was a player. Arguably, that’s not the best strategy, but if you have a hard time finding a group, it works.

Pro tip: You can microwave leftover cookies for 10-15 seconds to revive that warm, gooey, greatness. For multiple cookies, start with 10 seconds then rotate and cook in increments of 5 seconds. It takes some practice.

They need to tie these to Subscribe & Save so that the item gets added to your next order. I love how the day after it processes, my family members start whining that we’re out of stuff even though I asked them to check the day before. Maybe this would help idiot proof the system a bit.

Note: Properly canned food (even home canning) is safe to eat indefinitely as long as it is still sealed. Food that has been frozen and kept frozen is also safe to eat indefinitely. Taste and nutritional quality are a completely different story though.

Having also been cursed with myopia, I’ve found that my 3M respirator is way more comfortable than any dust mask. I’d get a full face one but my neighbors already think I’m cooking meth in the paint booth in my garage.

This is why I moved to the desert where everything is dead. There’s one tree here that bothers me for 2 weeks every march, but the rest of the year I’m home free.

Also, downward dog kills my wrists. I’ve tried using a rolled towel for support, but so far the only thing that helps during a vinyasa is to use pushup stands. Is that bad? If it is, how can I prevent carpal tunnel pain during certain poses?

I have a lot of lower body issues (flat-feet, over-pronation, knock knees, etc.) Currently, I do Yoga as part of P90x for 1.5 hours once a week and a ~30 min Vinyasa session earlier in the week as part of cardio day. Is it helpful to focus on correcting the position of my legs even if it means I can’t hold the pose as

Yes. Even if you’re going to take plates early on (you shouldn’t) at least ask first. We went out on Friday, and twice the waiter tried to take a plate that we weren’t finished with and I had to ask for it back.
