I have a lot of lower body issues (flat-feet, over-pronation, knock knees, etc.) Currently, I do Yoga as part of P90x for 1.5 hours once a week and a ~30 min Vinyasa session earlier in the week as part of cardio day. Is it helpful to focus on correcting the position of my legs even if it means I can’t hold the pose as

Yes. Even if you’re going to take plates early on (you shouldn’t) at least ask first. We went out on Friday, and twice the waiter tried to take a plate that we weren’t finished with and I had to ask for it back.

In my experience, unless a company is publicly traded, there really is no such thing as business credit. Every application I’ve filled out has wanted to check the credit/get a personal guarantee of anyone owning 25% or more of the company. I’ve seen the percentage as low as 10% even. I’d assume that in a bankruptcy,

After 8 years of owning my own business, I can attest that an emergency fund is one of the few things that will help you sleep at night during the rough times. I’m out of the woods at this point, but in the early years the stress of not knowing where my next meal was coming from was absolutely killer.

I’d love to do this, but between our mosquitoes, and my fear of annoying the neighbors (townhouse) it’s a no go for now.

These are nice to have for your car, but they also make a great gift for someone starting out.

If the authorities are uninterested in prosecuting this, I wonder what it would take to at the very least make the guy’s life hell with civil litigation? I’m sure if we get some creative lawyers on it, we could come up with something. At the very least, it should count as some sort of fraud or breach of contract.

I buy mostly store brand, but if you care about food quality and nutrition in addition to savings, check the nutrition labels. I’ve found that in many cases, the generic brands have much higher fat and sodium content as well as extra fillers that the name brand doesn’t.

I think it’s perfectly OK to put butter knives and my cheap steak knives in the dishwasher.

Discipline is my, and probably most people’s, biggest issue. I know the right way to do things. I just don’t.

This bugs the hell out of me. Set standards for the finished product, but let me do whatever I need to to get it done. If you want to offer suggestions, go for it, but don’t force me to do additional ‘make work’ just because you think it’s necessary.

Or you could just up your fiber intake. I’m in and out in 30 seconds flat.

Pets aren’t the problem. Any advice for toddlers?

I realize this is anecdotal, but we fed my cat nothing but kibble for 26 years and she was plenty healthy (for her age) up until the last 18 months.

You laugh, but I had a roommate that always took his shirt off to poop. Never understood why, nor could he give me an explanation other than that he’d always done it. He did this whether he was at home, in a public restroom, or squatting behind a bush in the woods. Otherwise a completely normal kid.

If there is any kitchen utensil that is inherently evil and out looking for a blood sacrifice, it’s the mandoline.

I’ve had a lot of gnarly injuries in my life, but the only time I’ve ever passed out from pain/shock/blood loss was from when the guard fell apart while I was using the french fry attachment. I use kevlar

This is why I keep 4 tanks on hand (max allowed by fire code) at all times. Also, since I do most of my canning on a pair of propane stoves outside, I need to be 100% sure I don’t run out half way through a batch.

Slightly off topic, but how do people usually use these?

I have one I got for free from another brand that is great for keeping the kids’ tablet alive on airplanes, but other than that I haven’t gotten much use out of it. Maybe I’m just near power often enough that I’ve never felt the need to carry around a backup

I’ve done wired keyboards with great success. Only problem is it takes almost a week to dry out, and eventually wears the letters off of some.

I’m not referring to her getting used to Win10 but to Win10 utterly breaking her system and her having to pay an arm and a leg for a tech to recover her data (I’ve seen it corrupt the filesystem so bad that data recovery was necessary) and get the PC working again. You’re tech savvy, so you can figure it out, but
