This is not made with iPods and mp3's in mind I would think, although I guess some people with too much money might waste it on stuff like that. I on the other hand would LOVE getting my hands on these given the fact that I spend 8 hours or more a day doing sound design for video games and such. With my current

If I remember correctly there is one data center in iceland that pumps glacial water through its system to cool it off. Or maybe it was just the plan, not sure if they have built it yet.

Before I reply to this comment with a simple "huh?", can someone explain to me the term "non-native english speaking people". Are we talking about people that are not native to the US (or the UK) but still speak english as a first language? or are we simple talking about any person that has english as a

The non-english speaking people care.

how I understand it, Dark Matter is basically the same as X in an equation. They don't really know what it means and their instruments can't really see it but they can see its effects on the equation pretty well and they are slowly searching for more and more clues of its effects so they can actually find out what it

The town where I lived (a small one, around 17 thousand people, although relatively sized compared to the population in the country) used to have Wifi all over the place. Although not 100% over the place, but it was easy enough to find one. After 3G arrived in the town the ISP's, stores, cafés and other companies

Quite similar to my method except I just use a new line to seperate commands.

As a person that has lived most of his life up in the highlands, 30 kilometers from nearest town (population 500) and at least 7 kilometers from nearest farm I can tell you that shopping is never cheap in these cases. Like a previous reply pointed out, growing your own food can be a life saver. With the food my family

That's exactly the thing I've been looking for! I am a sound designer and my current work headphones aren't in-ear so they tend to put some pressure on my ears, which sort of puts my ears in between the glasses and the headphone making them sore after just couple of minutes of work. I did not read the original article, but this Gizarticle and all those comment about natural/unnatural food got me thinking, how is wood in shredded cheese not natural? Last time I checked, wood is quite natural.

I just read that without switching to another tab, or another program (although it was tempting at some points). This is witchcraft! What have you done to me?!

looks like my previous post didn't get posted for some reasons. Here's my second try!

I actually hope everytime I end up in a conversation with opposing opinions that the other person is right (or at least less wrong). Because that means I will learn something new that day. The thought of being right (or at least being considered right by myself and others) scares me as that means my opinions and

of all the tricks presented here, this one is probably the best one.

I am getting the same results. Adium was using around 50 megs after hours of running, with multiple accounts. Instabird on the other hand got up to 70 or 80 megs with one account 5 minutes after I started it. :/

i don't know about your country but in my country, the so called "indie" music is the mainstream.

note that osx's Terminal also has auto-complete. At least for directories and files.

could you post some interesting ideas for what one could do with spotlight and scripts? :)
