My Ouya arrived 2 days ago and I wanted to post here with a little mini-review reply to this post. I do agree with this post to a greater extent. If you are not a indie gamer freak or a hobby game developer then I would say "wait a bit". Wait for Ouya to polish the storefront and the software. Still, I god damn love

...or just grow a full beard. problem solved. :)

I'll go for Angry Birds: Rio and off-brand tetris over Call of Dogs anyday! ;)

Actually, they have a nice share of the parking lot for their stuff. They got food trucks, seating area, a convertable/openable container with consoles and so on. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid…

I got into the beta a week ago and it was a perfect timing because I had just purchased a second computer. I now have all of my projects and data from my main computer sync'ed to my new laptop with BitTorrent Sync. We are talking about over 160 gigabytes of data. This is what I've been waiting for for years!

It's remnants from the good old Vi/Vim text editor days. Not really good old though as people still use those text editors, mainly programmers of course though, which probably resulted in those easter egg key shortcuts showing up in various websites which eventually turned them into a "standard".

I did see a tweet from the guys behind reeder.app to not worry about google reader shut down affecting Reeder. Lets hope they will live up to the promise.

It's the beginning of Skynet.

Wouldn't blaming Linux for crappy Skype app be sort of like blaming the road company for how crappy your car is?

The reason why I use Libre Office is because they use open file formats so if they bite the dust in X years (nothing lasts forever) then I will at least not have any major problems converting my documents to the next big thing. Apart from that LibreOffice is not that much different from Office. Powerful but slightly

For the person that took that screenshot. It's Sigur Rós, not Sigur Ros. And Sæglópur, not Saeglópur. ;)

doesn't support MPD :( (like usually)

In other words, you are an advocate of piracy until it affects you or your country?

I wouldn't use the Raspberry as a regular computer although it is possible in theory, but it would be extremely slow and unreliable. not recommended.

Thanks for the correction because the news post said otherwise.... oh wait...

We are already having enough problems just with people being different colored. Along with the fact that we don't seem to care much for the apes.

this little DIY project is awesome for those that spend less on lenses, like me. I tend to buy very cheap lenses (ranging from 50 to 200 bucks) so it sort of feels weird to purchase cases that cost more than my lenses.

probably somewhere around 300 gigabytes of photographs. Mostly taken with my DSLR. Only about 1 or 2% of those are "smartphone" photographs. (that is, taken with my iPod Touch. I don't own a smartphone)

My friend used to throw all pennies he would get in change at the grocery store on top of the post office which happened to be right between his house and the grocery store. He did this for years. We used to joke that one day the roof on the post office would cave in by the weight.
