Without revealing too much, I work for a (non-car) US manufacturing company, and literally just today I walked out of a meeting where I was informed that the project I’ve spent the last year on is getting tariff-fucked.

I’ve been considering buying a new Volvo. On the one hand, these comments make me want to buy a Volvo more. On the other hand, being manufactured in South Carolina, with the attendant goal of avoiding unionization, makes me want to buy a Volvo less. But do they ever cover the old class-A fascia with a new one?

Most MCAs I see involve removing the old fascias and throwing new ones on.

Can I just say as an “old millennial” that it makes me feel ancient hearing that kids have backup cameras in cars in high school? We were still years away from having cameras on our phones in my day.
