Go big or go home. A 2 - 3 year old Taurus SHO would fit the bill nicely. 350+ HP, AWD and nice ride. Plus, you can find them with low miles for less than $25K all day long.

My 2001 Audi S8 (D2 series) has the cutest little mini-sunshade-visor thing that lives BEHIND the rear view mirror... useful for the two times a year in the dusk/dawn light where the sun’s shining through that little slit behind the mirror just as you survey the mirror. Flip it down (it’s got a solid metallic

That’s a 30-year old Lotus staring back at you. 30 years.. let that sink in.

They pop up a few times a year here in California with over 100k on them so likely you could still be riding it trouble free. Plenty of them for sale on any given day with 50-30k on them. Honestly I don’t know why they changed it up to the latest generation.

If you would only have asked a few years ago I would have said NSX. I would have been right too since the cars have actually gone up in value significantly. (How freaking rare is that for a Honda?)

No, we really really don’t. The vast majority don’t give a crap one way or the other (I certainly don’t). That said, there is unfortunately a vocal minority on both sides of this issue (see said looters above) and the whole thing goes to shit. This BLM thing ticks me off mostly becuase these “peaceful” protests keep

The reality is, you can have a Bolt and a deposit on a Model 3 also. By the time you take possession of the Bolt, reach the end of a 2 or 3-year lease on it, your Model 3 may be just about ready to deliver.

Don’t we all haha

NA body, right?

“The turbocharged MR2 models had the benefit of coming with a beefier gearbox, able to handle up to 350 lb-ft of torque if you plan on putting in some work”

My daily-driven, V6, supercharged, tuned, straight-piped 93 MR2. Freaking love this car.

Even worse...didn’t Aston badge engineer the Mitsubishi i-Me or Smart Car? But yeah...that was the main point of my post.

Lotus has never made their own engines.

The engine sound is one of the best features in the Evora. If that’s a Toyota, then who cares! That engine rips. No oil leaks, minimal service and never a thought in your mind whether you’ll have an engine issue. The Lotus made pieces are more of a concern...

Daryl, what are you talking about? A 1993 MR2 is the 2nd gen coupe, not the dainty 3rd gen spider.

I’m not disagreeing with you, but look at your post. You pulled a six cylinder from a Toyota Sienna (not a bad engine at all) and installed it in an MR-2 Spider (cool little car). But what does ALL of that have in common? Both of the vehicles in question are common, reasonably attainable (when new) vehicles. They

I don’t care how great the Lotus is...if it doesn’t look like the pic I’m posting, I’m not interested. Besides, no matter what its power to weight ratio is, a vehicle’s heart is really its engine and transmission. They don’t use an exotic, high-powered engine like their price-peers. They use a Honda, Toyota, or
