I thought Truth Be Told was a respectable attempt at a modern multi-cam sitcom. It wasn't brilliant, but compared to Two Broke Girls… suffice to say, there were considerably worse comedies on TV.

I look forward to this every year! Some of these bands aren't bad. O.R. They have a track that samples the theme from Are You Being Served, which is kind of amazing.

This band didn't deserve to be a one hit wonder. And "Cream and Bastards Rise" is one of my favorite power-pop songs of all time.

Willie Hutch’s “The Glow” is the one indispensable track on my gym playlist.

Never have I seen so many things thrown at a wall and absolutely none of it stick.

Sorry if this was mentioned elsewhere, but my favorite example is how The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air dealt with a new actress playing Aunt Viv: https://www.youtube.com/wat…

I really like this Year of Glad EP!

I like this band a lot. I really like their song "Long Division" as well as their cover of Girls at Our Best's "Warm Girls".

This is a really amazing interview. John Lydon is a smarter, more introspective fellow than I ever gave him credit for.

One aspect of this situation that’s worth mentioning is that Solo’s half-sister and nephew had let her off the hook. They refused to testify, and the case against her was essentially dead. It was at this point that Solo took it upon herself to go on a media tour, in which she proclaimed herself the victim of domestic

Another standout track on the soundtrack was Anna Waronker's amazing kiss-off anthem "I Wish You Well". Although I really like the version in the film, Waronker's own version is even better IMO: https://www.youtube.com/wat…

Look, I'm as cynical as the next guy, but I contend that Giorgio/Sia's "Deja Vu" is the most thrilling pop song of the last 5 years: https://www.youtube.com/wat…

If "Deja Vu" had been released a few weeks later, it would have been my Official Summer Jam of the Summer (sic). Instead, I believe that honor is going to Galantis's "Peanut Butter Jelly".

Certainly this is a much stronger case.

Is it not worth mentioning that these songs don't really sound alike? I didn't even agree with the Robin Thicke verdict, but at least I heard the similarity. I don't hear it in this case. Not at all.

In her grief, Meredith Grey turns to her old friend… The President of the United States! They get into sexy adventures, international intrigue, she makes lots of dramatic speeches, uses her medical skills to torture a lot of people, etc.

Thanks Mr. Ryan for compiling this collection. It was worth the wait! (and BTW the "Miami Dolphins" LP is actually worth a listen).

Graham Norton called. He'd like his format back.

Yeah, WTF was that?
