It’s much less FE than it is FFT or Tactics Ogre, both of which I recommend to you wholeheartedly if you like the look of this!

You explained this better than I was about to!

I have the exact opposite thing of being really into femdom humiliation porn despite/because of my intense fear of being humiliated. I can’t reconcile why it turns me on when the idea of people’s bodies being humiliated is so abhorrent to me, but like you say, it doesn’t matter, it’s just sex.

Wow that’s an impressively articulate dismantling in such a stressful situation. I wish I could respond to attacks that coherently!

Capcom do this for basically every release, DMCV got a bunch and there was that typewriter for the RE2 remake - I can’t think that they actually expect people to buy them, and I doubt they produce more than the cheapest possible batch number, it’s purely fuel for articles like this one.

That’s a very subjective opinion. November alone had both Hollow Knight and Shadow of Mordor, and we’ve seen high profile and well-received sports, action, fighting, racing and roleplaying games in the past 5-6 months, not to mention Fall Guys which was a legitimate craze. It’s perfectly valid to not like them, but

Synthesis, easy. The trilogy spent so much time developing the geth and making it clear that synthetic life is just as valid as biological life. As far as I’m concerned, that’s legitimately the moral of the games, and makes Synthesis the only choice that actually wraps up the story conclusively.

Strangely, the new Battlefront games taught me that my left thumb prefers inverted, but my right thumb prefers uninverted. It’s real weird.

It presents all of Sony’s history as iconic, world-changing, adored by the masses’
One of the things that I actually thought was really cool about it is that it DOESN’T do that - yes it’s a celebration of PlayStation minutia, but it actually pokes fun at itself in a way I really enjoyed. The description for the Move

I have a lot of time for Phil Spencer, Xbox has come a long way since he replaced Mattrick - it’s still not a console I have any desire for, but I appreciate his messaging, the dude talks a lot of sense and generally does appear to have spearheaded a least some changes toward inclusivity.

I don’t have a huge amount of love for it, but it bares mentioning that the first Amazing Spider-man game was miles more competent than the first PS2 game, Web of Shadows and Amazing 2.

Any list that places Web of Shadows above the PSone games is invalid as far as I’m concerned. Even if the gulf in story quality wasn’t enough, WoS’s janky controls, horrible aesthetics, awful voice-acting and narrow FOV made it actually nauseating for me to play. It’s the one and only game I’ve ever returned to the

I think he probably meant performance-wise.

I’m kind of mystified by a lot of the games media’s insistence that the game needs tons of licensed brands to be authentically black. Even if doubling down on their presumably already pretty expensive licensing catalogue were a good use of money, it’s just a troubling outlook in general.

Those examples are all things we talked about long before the internet existed.

Honestly the weirdest thing to me bar the writing and wonky accents is the fleet of canal-borne speedboats in London. I mean I get why they’re there function-wise, and it’s not like you can’t see plenty of narrowboats, it’s just really strange to see.

Oh wow that explains so much

Did you see the cat hiding in the boxes? Every single location is so dense with detail, it’s genuinely impressive

Wow that’s actually delightful. I spotted Kratos, Fat Princess, Solid Snake and the Puppeteer, did I miss any? Also ‘with great power...’ is such a fun cheeky reference to the Spider-man font, I love it! I didn’t expect to be excited to play this, but I’m for real looking forward to it now!

Thanks for the tip about throttle friction. I was having trouble hearing the beep for 50%, so I tried to solve this problem by setting the throttle to move in 50% steps, but this seems much preferable.
I’ll admit to being frustrated with my performance in Squadrons so far after dominating pretty easily in Battlefront
