I hear you, Clem Fandango

Oh, I see, so you like the idea of the different seeds hiding rare content and items etc - you’re right, that would be really cool for people exploring to share the dungeons where they found weird unique stuff. I wasn’t a fan of the chalice dungeons as they were implemented, but yeah I’d buy your idea. The wedding

That was more or less my experience - I could get so far with very careful positioning, but once it hits that crazy phase it felt like flipping coins. I highly recommend the bowblade strategy if you have the time to devote to grinding - I was NG + when I did that though, so the souls were easier to come by.

Now that I think about it, isn’t that what Necropolis is? I’ve not played it myself, so I can’t vouch for it quality-wise.

Yharnam I took out with basically no effort, I think I finished with practically all of my blood vials. The Cursed, Defiled Amygdala you need to beat to get to her though ... Jesus fuck, I ended up grinding my bloodtinge from nothing to stupidly high in order to kill it with the bowblade, it was the only way I could

Good news! Hopefully this will start the turn of the tide.

This seems like a bizarre argument to make when the work on its own merits contains nothing objectionable. Condemning it for partially deriving from a problematic history seems like a poorly considered reaction when practically speaking, the same is true of everything. Not everybody who uses a lightbulb needs to know

I have no horse in this race, but if you’re insisting on the Ivo you’re already conceding, the joke is that it’s Ovi spelled backwards.

It will do since it’s being properly rebuilt. The HD remaster was based on the PAL release from which the problem stems - funnily enough this means I’ve never actually played it with the original physics, so I’m a bit worried about it not feeling the same for me!

Oh the project was doomed from the start, I’m just saying EA execs are the worst. Also I didn’t say the public was wrong, I’m saying noone seems to be drawing the right conclusions from the data. Having every game full of lightsabers dilutes what’s special about the setting.

Dead Space 3 was ruined by EA’s meddling, demanding unnecessary multiplayer, more shooter gameplay and microtransactions. Left to their own devices, the studio had a masterpiece trilogy on their hands.

Fuck EA executives. Mismanagement of finances in allowing the studio to continue unchanged when it was operating way over budget. Assigning a studio historically driven by creativity onto Hardline, a project none of them will be happy on. Forcing them to use a not-fit-for-purpose engine. Denial of resources. Fostering

The vast majority of my time in GTA IV was spent flinging myself across the map using the glitched set of swings on the first island. That and testing from how far away I could leap out of a helicopter and crash headfirst through the door of the penthouse apartment.

Goddamn, videogames solved the in/out of combat problem a billion years ago, why is it still ruining every Assassin’s Creed? If you absolutely have to separate your traversal and combat into modes, use a manual switch like a lock-on system. If you’re going to ape Dark Souls, that’s key, but frankly they only needed to

Same for Road Rash 2, that was the first thing I looked for.

Thanks Todd Howard

I’m very impressed with this comment section, I don’t see a single mention of the glaring medieval strap-on the guy appears to be wearing.

Oh. I was kind of hoping we’d actually get to see the rules, this didn’t reveal anything except ‘we have a character bible’, which, like, duh.

Holy shit they’re really impressive! Tilt brush must have more advanced tools than I thought, that mech is super symmetrical.

Strange one for people to kick up a fuss about, there have been far more noteworthy ones in the past. Portsmouth being sponsored by ‘ty’ for a few years is the first example to spring to mind, that big beanie baby loveheart on the bright orange shirt made them look like a team of carebears or something!
