I really enjoyed this article. I don't normally have the patience for a full Tim Rogers piece, but this was very focused and thought-provoking.

That's more or less all I'm referring to
I hope so, but I didn't notice those issues during the reveal. It seems like they've had to downgrade the graphics significantly to run on the new consoles, that doesn't seem like something they can just fix again.
So much pop-in so close to the camera, it's really distracting. Vegetation and shadows appearing out of nowhere, textures failing to load on time when zooming in to aim... this has definitely taken a downgrade since the reveal.
Yeah, I think the premier VR experiences are going to be the games that really focus on interactivity with the gameworld. I think that's what will really take advantage of the Rift to make it seem like something new. Just more pointshoots isn't going to blow my mind, but things more along the lines of Skyrim (although…
Why do we never get PS plus deals like that in the UK? I've been waiting like three years now and I've never seen it for less than £35.

I came here to say exactly that! Best main protagonist of the entire series, he's the only one with an actual personality bar Tidus, who I'd probably prefer without one.
It just occurred to me that you could make really good boards for tabletop games like Warhammer this way.
I still want to know what happened to the cool variable depth of field from the original announcement. That looked so pretty.
Ha. That's a cool way to reveal that, and I couldn't be more excited for this now.
Bring back Ivysaur!!!
Okay, that's true too. I just think there's way more potential for game wallpapers than we're seeing here.
Most of these just look like any old screenshot. Give me stuff like Dead End Thrills' work, with unusual angles and actual wallpaper potential.
I actually came down here to write that. I'd give anything for that experience.
So stealthy. Much ninja.
Dax is the hero we deserve.
